Valentine’s Day Breakfast in Brisbane

Not everyone will have the luxury of breakfast in bed and being pampered senseless because it is Valentine’s Day. For those for whom it is just another day, come along and join us for breakfast (minus the bed!).

We will make sure you get the day off to a wonderful start. Apart from a scrumptious hot buffet breakfast, we will have a guest speaker from the Heart Foundation who will give a quick talk and there will also be a Q & A session.

Our venue is the Diana Plaza Hotel in Brisbane. The start time is 7.15 am for 7.30am start. Cost for members is $30 and non members is $35. If you would like to join us, please contact us at admin@transportwomen.com.au

Transport Women Australia Founding Member wins OAM

Transport Women Australia Ltd would like to congratulate our member, and former Chair, Nola Bransgrove on the recent awarding of her OAM.

Nola from Traralgon, is one of our founding members and was awarded her Australia Day honour for services to Transport and to Women.

Current Transport Women Chair Pam McMillan said it is wonderful to see women recognised for the work they do and especially those women in the Trucking Industry who work to make this a better place for the future.

Nola joins Liz Martin from Alice Springs and Kathy White from Queensland as notable women in the Trucking Industry who have been awarded OAM’s.

Steve has been a strong supporter of Transport Women for many years and in particular our WA members. This award is a first for Transport Women and recognises the high esteem in which Steve is held.
